Winifred Mary Jones-Beisser

Winifred Mary Jones-Beisser, age 91, passed away September 13, 2013 at Ozark Riverview Manor. She was born May 2, 1922 in St. Louis, Missouri, to Fred and Agnes Jones, and then baptized into the Catholic Church. On August 1, 1945 she was united in marriage to Paul Theodore Beisser, Jr. in Clayton, Missouri, and to this union six children were born. Winifred worked as a housewife and mother. She was active in her local Parish and taught needlepoint classes. She enjoyed staying active in all her children"�s activities and functions. Winifred is survived by her daughters, Louisa Dudley Harris and husband Don, Marion Paulette Wright and husband Donnie, Bird Beisser Fox and husband Steve; sons, Lt. Col. Paul Theodore Beisser III, Jon Christopher Beisser and wife Martha, and James Richard Beisser; 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 5 nieces; and 4 nephews and other relatives and friends. Winifred was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Theodore Beisser, Jr.; her parents, Fred and Agnes Jones; a great-granddaughter, Alyssa Bailey Miller; and a daughter-in-law, Melody Hodge Beisser. A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
