William J. Scott

William J. Scott (79), of Nixa, Missouri went to be with the Lord on September 22, 2017 while at home surrounded by his family. Born July 17, 1938 in New York City, Bill or Pop as he was affectionately know, was beloved by the community along with his family and friends. Bill loved life to the fullest, leaving behind no regrets and many, many wonderful memories. He will be missed... Bill is survived by his loving wife, Marguerite (Margie); daughter and son in law Victoria (Tori) and Ron Preston and grandchildren, Nicholas and Rebecca Preston of Springfield, Missouri; daughter Phyllis Landano, her two children, Marguerite and Ronnie as well as her three grandchildren all of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; son and daughter William and Debbie Scott of New York; brother Robert of New York; brother in law Conrad Tupper of New Jersey as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his beloved sister Cathy earlier this year. A celebration of his life well lived will be announced at a later date.
