Wilda Lee Micham, age 89 of Sparta, passed away Monday, February 24, 2020. She was born November 26, 1930 in Walnut Shade, the daughter of Homer and Helen (King,) Estep.
In 1970, Wilda was united in marriage to Ernest E. Micham. Ernest preceded Wilda in death on December 3, 1986.
Wilda was a member of Fellowship Lighthouse Church in Bruner. She had retired from FASCO and from Sparta Schools where she was a cook. Wilda was known for her cooking- especially her cheesecake, stuffing, green beans, meatloaf, homemade rolls, potato salad and taco casserole. Wilda enjoyed sewing, and was active in her quilting club. Wilda also loved gardening. She greatly enjoyed life. Wilda put everybody before herself.
Survivors include: her children, Rex Tatum and wife Teresa, Clint Tatum and wife Vicky, June Cox and husband Gary, Reggie Micham and wife Diana and Emerel Micham; a multitude of grandkids; great grandkids; great great grandkids; multiple nieces and nephews; and many friends.
In addition to her husband, Wilda was preceded in death by a son, Dan Tatum; a daughter, Lorna Bee Crawshaw; a grandson, Matthew Tatum; a great grandson, Ryan Parrish; a great granddaughter, Chondra Robinett; and three brothers, Ted, Don and Carl Estep.
A funeral service with Pastor Reggie Micham officiating will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in Selmore Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 P.M. Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
