Virgil Wayne Hall, age 66, of Highlandville, passed away Monday, July 23, 2018. He was born September 20, 1951 in Ozark, one of six children of Virgil Rex and Ora Mae (Johnson) Hall. He was a 1969 graduate of Ozark High School. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. Wayne was an electrician, most recently working for Montgomery Electric.
On June 18, 2006 he and Rita Irene Stutesmun were married at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Highlandville. Wayne could fix just about anything. He helped others with projects around their home. He was an avid Chiefs fan, enjoyed watching Jeopardy, old Sci-Fi movies, and John Wayne Westerns. He visited with and called friends and family just to check on them and to show he cared.
Survivors include: His wife Rita; children and their spouses, Mandie and Doug Ross, Machele and Jeremy Cotton, and Mark and Sheriee Schroeder; grandchildren, Payton, Dai, Travis, Hayley, Taytum, Titus, Tayla, Miaya, Ashlyn, Lily, Kinsley, Elyssa, and Marky; a great-grandson, Justin; sisters and brother, Maralyn Thompson and Warren, Shirley Waddell and Garen, Roxie Croft and Sam, Linda Hall, and Kenneth Hall and Beverly; and a host of nieces and nephews. An infant brother, Michael John Hall preceded him in death as well as his parents.
A graveside funeral will be 10:00 AM Friday, July 27, at Old Boston Cemetery, Oldfield. Visitation will be Thursday, July 26, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
