Wayne Fields, age 72, of Ozark, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014. He was born August 27, 1941, in Springfield, the son of Obie Diah and Opal (Maples) Fields.
Wayne was employed by Paul Mueller as a stainless steel grinder and then worked for Precision Stainless. He enjoyed rebuilding old cars.
Survivors include: His wife, Judy; two children, Kelly Frangella of Clever, and Scott Fields of Ozark; seven grandchildren, Courtney, Whitney, Channing, Jason, Jeremy, Hailie and Carlie; three great-grandchildren, Rylea, Taelor, and Obediah; a brother, Ray Fields of Springfield; and two sisters, Loretta Owens of Springfield, and Jean Thorp and husband Joe of Leslie, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his parents-in-law, Homer and Juanita Witt.
A graveside funeral will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 26, in Danforth Cemetery, Strafford. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
