Wayne Bell

Wayne Bell, age 69, went to be with the Lord on April 7, 2014. He was born in Chicago Heights Illinois to Napoleon Bell and Fannie (Tolliver) Bell on March 14, 1945. He graduated from Bloom High School in Chicago Heights, Illinois with the class of 1964. Wayne was a devoted family man, and a hard working provider for his family. He had a sense of humor and an infectious laugh that would light up a room. Spending time with family and friends was something he very much appreciated. A pastime he very much enjoyed was dining out at Aurelio's pizza with his family. In his spare time he liked to watch football, basketball and baseball on TV, and he had a penchant for Old Western movies as well. Wayne had an unwavering faith in God. He attended Church regularly with his family and loved the Lord with all his heart. He often took the opportunity by giving an encouraging word from the Bible to help other in their daily lives. Wayne was predeceased by his daughter, Kim Dean. He was also predeceased by his brothers and sister; William Bell, Earnest Bell, Banky Bell, Ellis Bell and Sandra Jones. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Kathleen Bell; along with six children; Terrence Bell, Michele Bell, Wayne Berger, Jason Bell, Brian Bell, and Joel Bell. He is also survived by brothers and sisters; Napoleon Bell, Bobby Bell, Stanley Bell, Marge Perkins, Doris Gaines; and many other loving nieces, nephews and relatives. Memorial services for Wayne Bell will be held at 12:00 pm, Friday, April 18, 2014 from St. James C.M.E. Church on 12 W Main St, Chicago Heights, IL 60411.
