Walter Lynn Hutchinson

Walter Lynn Hutchinson, age 78, of Ozark, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017. He was born May 25, 1938 in Ava, the son of Carter and Hester (Wade) Hutchinson. In 1961 he and Ellen Lucille Gibson were married. Walter worked for Dayco as a Bias Plyer until retirement in 1986. His passion was antique cars. He drove and worked on Model A and Model T cars. He was a member of Antique Car Clubs in the area, and enjoyed over the road trips. Survivors include: His wife of 55 years, Ellen; three children, Jeff Hutchinson and wife Vanessa of Ozark, Jaima Grover and husband Bill of Springfield, and Micah Hutchinson of Sparta; 13 grandchildren, Melanie, John, Amberrose, Charles, Amy, Nathan, Ashley, Mikyla, Austin, Dallas, Levi, Olivia, and Sophia; 5 great-grandchildren, Isabel, Harvey, Loralei, Elliott, and Averie; and three brothers, Joe Hutchinson and wife Joann of Springfield, Larry Hutchinson and wife Wanda of Ava, and Richard Hutchinson of Sparta. Walter was preceded in death by a daughter Sue Woods, and a granddaughter Veronica Hutchinson. Visitation will be from 2:00 - 4:00 PM Sunday, April 2, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. A graveside funeral will be 1:00 PM Monday, April 3, at Shipman Cemetery, Sparta.
