Wade Allen Vickers

Wade Allen Vickers, age 42, of Springfield, passed away suddenly July 24, 2013 in Marshfield. He was born January 21, 1971 in Marshalltown, Iowa. He graduated from Ozark High School. Wade worked as a truck driver for many years and most recently for Penmac. He was a huge fan of the San Francisco 49ers football team. Wade was a true family man. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed visiting casinos and liked playing bingo. Wade died doing what he loved and will be missed by many. Wade is survived by his two children, a daughter, Amanda Jensen of Springfield, and a son Brandon Vickers, of Nixa; six grandchildren; a brother, Brian Vickers of Springfield; a sister, Lori Schleusner and husband Randy of Waterloo, Iowa; aunts and an uncle, Sandy, Dorothy Anne, Linda and Hank, Jr.; and other family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan Kaye (Ackerson); and his grandparents, Henry and Dorothy Ackerson. A visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M. Friday, July 26, 2013, at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
