Virginia (Jenny) Lancaster

Virginia (Jenny) Lancaster, age 83, of Nixa, passed away in her home, December 27, 2012, after a long illness. She was born to Charley and Iva (Jones) Armstrong January 13, 1929, in Arkadelphia, AR. She was united in marriage to John Lancaster October 4, 1963, in Tucsan, AZ. John is proud to say Jenny was a homemaker, and didn"�t have to work outside the home. People who knew Jenny said she is one the sweetest of ladies. She was kind, understanding, and a giving person. She loved her family and was well respected. Her grandson said all she had to do was give him "the look"� and he knew to straighten up. She was a strong person and fought her illness gallantly. Jenny will be dearly missed. Jenny is survived by her husband, son Matthew Lancaster, wife Carol, of Orange, CA, daughter Charlotte Lancaster, of Ozark, 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many friends. Jenny is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Lester Armstrong. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013, from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
