Virgil Blaine Pearson, age 75, of Spokane, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014. He was born July 22, 1939 near Galena in Stone County, the son of Elmer and Clemma (Foster) Pearson.
Virgil retired as owner of Ozarks Image Printing. He enjoyed working on his farm and repairing old tractors. He also found time for fishing and hunting. In 1992 he and his wife Donna were united in marriage.
Survivors include: his wife Donna; children Anthony and Candy Pearson of Springfield, Tara Mooneyham of Nixa; step-children, Don Kennon and Heidi Mella of Lexington, Kentucky, Brandon and Shasta Kennon of Walnut Shade, and Darin and Mari Hagan of Branson; grandchildren, Drew Pearson, Tia Mooneyham, Ty Mooneyham, Madison Kennon, Tristan Kennon, Makaylie Kennon, Ethan Kennon, and Grace Kennon; a brother, Wayne Pearson of Monett; a sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Carl Frieze of Monett; and two nephews, Marty and Tammy Frieze of Monett, and Kelly and Lindy Frieze of Gilbert Arizona.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, October 17, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Corbie Pyatt officiating. Burial will follow in Yocum Pond Cemetery, Reeds Spring. Visitation will be from 6:30 - 8:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home.
