Vivian Viola (Gardner) Lloyd Vaughan, age 93, of Ozark, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2011, in Century Pines Assisted Living, where she had made her home for the past two years. She was born January 25, 1918 in Bennington, Oklahoma, the daughter of Walter T. and Mary Martha (Scott) Gardner.
She was united in marriage to Parker Lloyd. In the early 1950"�s the family left Oklahoma, and in 1956 settled in Ozark.
Vivian worked for Hagale Garment Factory and later for Fasco Industries in Ozark before retirement. She was a member of Ozark Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, canning and cooking for her family. Vivian had a peaceful, loving and kind soul and will be missed by each loving family member and friend.
Her husband, Parker, passed away in 1968. She later married Clarence Vaughan who preceded her in death in 2007. She was also preceded in death by three children, Phillip Lloyd, Minerva Edmondson and infant Donald Ray Lloyd, two brothers, Roscoe Gardner, and R.C. Gardner, two sisters, Kathleen Oram, and Lee Etta Lloyd, and her parents.
Survivors include: Two sons, Grady Lloyd and wife Barbara, Ozark, and Wesley Lloyd and wife Linda, Potosi; six grandchildren, James Lloyd and wife Sheila, Joleen VanHoose and husband Joel, Renee Lloyd, Leanne Lloyd, Sharon Edmondson, and Bradley Lloyd; many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Billy G. Gardner, and W.T. Gardner and wife Joanne, and a sister, Roma Lou Jackson and husband Glen.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 12, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Phyllis Winzenried officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time on Saturday. A graveside funeral will be 3:00 on Monday in Old Church Cemetery, Bennington, Oklahoma.
