Viola Faye Miller

Faye Miller, age 93, passed away August 1, 2018 at Cox South Hospital, Springfield, MO. She was born on April 13, 1925 in Upton, MO to Charlie and Ina Jane Mitchell. She spent her last 55 years as a dedicated Christian with a deep faith in God. She always spoke of how she loved living and was fortunate to still be living on her own and caring for herself when she passed. As her grandson TJ said, "She believed so strongly in God and she always smiled so much and got a kick out of everything." She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Alexander-Warren and husband Craig Warren of Springfield, MO, and Sonya Boguz of Littleton, CO; a son Arthur Durm; grandsons Heath Miller and wife Andrea of Oklahoma City, OK, TJ Miller of Deerfield Beach, FL; brother Keith Mitchell of Roseland LA; and many dear friends in Walnut Ridge, AR and surrounding area. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harrell, son John, four sisters, and one brother. A graveside gathering of family will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Seymour City Cemetery in Seymour, MO with burial to follow. She will be laid to rest near her beloved son, John Keith Miller. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, MO.
