Victor E Schelling

Victor Edward Schelling, age 90, of Ozark, Missouri, passed on April 13, 2023, in Springfield, Missouri at Cox South Medical Center. he was born to Paul Schelling and Laura (Laforce) Schelling on December 25, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois.

Victor took pride in being part of the Air Force and loved his military background. He enjoyed watching war movies and spending time with his family. He moved to the Ozarks and enjoyed being around the small local town and enjoying his free time here. Victor was good man and was active in many clubs throughout his life.

He leaves behind his sister Audrey Letts and husband Gerald of Ozark; his niece Cheryl Stanley of Nixa; his nephew Steven Letts; his nephew Michael Letts of Ozark and wife Cindy of Ozark.

He is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Laura Schelling, his brother Duane Schelling, brother Clarence Schelling, and sister Isabelle.

A visitation will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.  A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.  

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
