Vickie Lynn Haynes, 68, of Nixa passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
Vickie was born on August 23, 1952 in Davenport, IA; the daughter of Harold and Carol (Wallace) Krenz. She married Wayne Haynes on November 25, 1981 in Pittsburg, KS.
Vickie was an educator for 38 years in a variety of roles in the Southwest Missouri area with her longest tenure being at John Thomas Elementary in Nixa, MO. She always put everyone before herself and found a way to impact everyone she touched. She enjoyed quilting, cooking/baking, reading, and fishing. Vickie loved spending time with her grandchildren more than anything and always found a way to spoil them. She was a member of James River Church in Ozark, MO.
Surviving is her husband, Wayne of 39 years; her sister Kip Trader; her brother Rick Krenz; her brother Kelly Krenz; her son Todd and Mandy Hafner of Oskaloosa, IA; her son Aaron and Katy Hafner of Olathe, KS; her son Dusty and Jill Hafner of Overland Park, KS; her son Payton and Jenna Haynes of Decorah, IA; 13 grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Carol Krenz; her brother Ron Krenz; her brother Tom Krenz; and her brother Keith Krenz.
Cremation Rites have been accorded and friends and relatives are invited to a Visitation with the family from 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Monday, August 2, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home in Nixa. A private Memorial for Vickie will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Vickie’s life may be made to Care To Learn – Nixa.
