Vella C Mills

Vella C. "Chelsea" Mills, 89, of Ozark passed away on Tuesday morning, June 18, 2019 at her home. Chelsea was born on November 9, 1929 in Mud Creek, Oklahoma, the daughter of Joe and Fannie (Ayers) Davis. She married William "Bill" L. Mills on May 17, 1947 in California. He passed away in June of 2009. Surviving is one daughter, Twila (Royce) Short of Nixa; one son, Kevin (Teresa) Mills of Clever; nine grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, Gary Lee Mills. A funeral will be held for Chelsea at 11:00am on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Adams Funeral Home in Ozark. Doug Fox will officiate, with burial following in Highlandville Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation with the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
