Vanna Moody

Vanna Moody, age 91 of Oldfield, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015. She was born October 13, 1923 in Hayden, Kentucky, the daughter of Roscoe and Perlina (Huff) Eversole. On November 15, 1943 Vanna married Bill Moody. Vanna was baptized in Swan Creek on July 18, 1946. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. Vanna was a member Oldfield Church of Christ. Survivors include: a daughter, Debra Peak and husband Tom, Oldfield; three grandchildren, Rebecca Braden and husband Rick, Laura Perkins and husband Randy and William Peak; a great grandson, Thomas Braden; and a sister, Leethy Toller and husband Glen. Vanna was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Moody; a daughter, Violet Weaver; and seven siblings. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2015 in Oldfield Church of Christ, Oldfield, Missouri, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Chuck Eakins officiating. Burial will follow in Old Boston Cemetery, Oldfield. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
