Twyla Joan Lilley, age 80, of Nixa, Missouri, recently of Springfield, Missouri, passed away Friday, November 1, 2013. She was born December 28, 1932, on the family farm near Isabella, Oklahoma, the daughter of Edson and Eva (Bierig) Fuller. On May 15, 1948, she and William Wesley Lilley were united in marriage. Twyla worked as a real estate executive secretary and was a homemaker throughout her life. She was active in the Christian Church in Lyons, Kansas, leading a youth group, and volunteering for the community food bank. She was most recently a member of Nixa Christian Church. Twyla was also involved in community concerts and the Kansas State Fair. Her family was most important to her and she loved spending time with each grandchild and great-grandchild. She often played bridge with good friends, and enjoyed fishing, water skiing, and playing games with her grandchildren. Survivors include: Her husband Bill; three sons and their wives, Wesley and Patricia Lilley of Centennial, Colorado, Jeffrey and Susie Lilley of Rose Hill, Kansas, and Gregg and Cathy Lilley of Fordland, Missouri; ten grandchildren, Nathan Lilley, Travis Lilley, Craig Meitler, Jason Lilley, Casey Lilley, Kim Meitler, Ayrin Bilups; Alex Lilley, Jason Henry and Shawn Lilley; fourteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Sylvia Wright of Fairview, Oklahoma, two sisters-in-law, Barbara Geis of Okeene, Oklahoma, and Myrtle Lilley of Farmington, New Mexico; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Oral Fuller; two brothers-in-law Carl J. Lilley and Jim Wright, a sister-in-law, Ethel Wilhelm, and her parents. A memorial service will be 10:00 AM Friday, November 8, at the Nixa Christian Church, 400 Northview Road, Nixa, Missouri, with Pastor Chad Mattingly officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Burial will be in Isabella, Oklahoma. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor"�s choice.
