Toy Ann Shove, age 52, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020. She was born June 24, 1967 in Portland, Oregon. Toy lived in Portland, New York, and Texas before joining her twin brother in Springfield in 2001. Several other family members followed her to the area.
Toy enjoyed art and music, especially coloring. Family was most important to Toy, and she loved spending time with them. Toy pampered and loved her dog, Gracie.
Survivors include: Her son, Cody Cotton, of Springfield; her mother, Dawn Mead of Springfield; a twin brother Timothy Shove and David Friend of Springfield; brother Tony Shove of Tallahassee, Florida; brother, Bradley Shove Sr, and wife Carolyn of Strafford; and many nieces and nephews.
Toy was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Shove and Michael Shove, step-father Bob Horton, and father William Shove.
A visitation will be 2:00 PM Thursday, June 4, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Cremation to follow.
