Tonya Leigh Gregory

Tonya Leigh Gregory, 49, passed away March 28, 2012, after battling a long illness. She was born October 27, 1962, to Roy and Sonya (Anderson) Gregory, of Springfield. Tonya loved to cook, and was an institutional cook for Cox Medical Center, and St. Johns Hospital. Tonya loved the outdoors, and loved to fish on the river. Tonya loved to laugh and be close to her family. Tonya is survived by her father, Roy, and step mother, Leann Gregory, of Nixa, mother, Sonya McDonald, and husband Rex, of Springfield, brother Michael Gregory, of Springfield, and her daughter, her pride and joy, Bonita Bevens. Tonya was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ruby Gregory. A private service will be held for the immediate family. Cremation is under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
