Timothy J. Bloomer

Timothy James Bloomer, age 66, of Nixa passed away Friday, January 19, 2024. Timothy was born July 23, 1957 in Springfield to James Jefferson and Treva (Reed) Bloomer.

Tim graduated from Spokane High School in 1975 and went to work with his father Jim and brother Gerald at Oxygen Service.  In 1983 they started the family business, Welders Supply, until Jim passed away in 1988.  Tim then started his own business in the 90's where he sold and maintained fire extinguishers and equipment.

Tim was very active. He loved dancing. He enjoyed square dancing, clogging and ball room dancing. He was also an oil painter. Tim was a member of the Audubon Society making safer habitats for birds and land beautification.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Friday, January 26, 2024 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. with Pastor Jim Walker officiating.  A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM prior to the service at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.

Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Audubon Society P. O. Box 3231, Springfield Missouri 65808.

Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Cremation rites were accorded by Adams Crematory, Ozark.
