Thomas "Tom" Leon Uzzell

Thomas Leon Uzzell, age 88 of Ozark, passed away September 23, 2021. He was born August 3, 1933 in Ft. Collins, Colorado, the son of Emery William and Shirley Marie (Dotson) Uzzell. On August 3, 1952, Tom was united in marriage to Sybil (Freelove.) Tom was a master craftsman, electrician, carpenter and plumber. He also pastored Apostolic Pentecostal churches in Ft. Collins, Colorado, Ozark and Nixa. Survivors include: his wife of 69 years, Sybil Uzzell of Ozark; his children, Steven Uzzell and wife Arleta of Springfield, Timothy Uzzell of Ozark and Teresa Lowry and Jerry Bob of Tennessee; grandchildren, Rachel Greer and husband David of Tennessee, Sarah Lyons and husband Matthew of Tennessee, Michael Uzzell and wife Audra of Ash Grove; Steven Uzzell and wife Bre of Festus. Jared Beall of Springfield, Joseph Beall and wife Autumn of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, Raymond and Desiree Eddings of Springfield, and Arley Beall of Springfield; great grandchildren, Anthony Wooten of Tennessee, Alyssa Greer of Tennessee, Sapphire Lewis and husband Brandon of Springfield, Autumn Uzzell of Ash Grove, Morgan Uzzell of Festus, Shaun Uzzell of Festus, and Bethany, Kristen, Sophia and Nicholas Eddings of Springfield; and a great great grandson, Hudson Lewis of Springfield. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Gloria. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark with Pastor Kelly Holland officiating. Burial will follow at Weaver Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-5 P.M., Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
