Thomas Edward King, age 88 of Ozark, passed away in his home Monday, August 16, 2021.
Tom was born in Pine Grove, West Virginia on January 25, 1933 to Lura and Charles King. He graduated from High school in 1950 and immediately joined the Air Force, serving some of his service stateside and 2 ½ years in England where he met the love of his life and future wife, Madge P. Curtis, known to friends as Jackie. Tom and Jackie celebrated 68 years of marriage together in July. Upon being honorably discharged from the Air Force, Tom enrolled in the engineering program at Indiana Technical Institute and spent forty plus years in the aluminum industry.
Tom and Jackie were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Andrea “Andi” and Jennifer. The foursome travelled the country together and visited England a few times to see their British family.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and his precious daughter, Andi. Surviving are his wife, and daughter, Jennifer; grandchildren, Chelsea, Bailey and Keaton; great grandchildren, Logan, Alex, Paislee, Lily, Olivia, Addaline, Harper, and Kennedy.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 18, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial with military honors will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.
