Teena Christine Johnson

Teena Christine Johnson, age 46 of Ava, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014. She was born October 3, 1967 in Springfield, the daughter of Jasper Clifton (J.C.) Nelson and Mildred "Pat" (Shortt) Nelson. On June 7, 1986 she was united in marriage to Cliff Johnson. Teena worked as an assistant occupational therapist at The Baptist Home in Ozark. Survivors include: her husband, Cliff Johnson, Ava; three children, Adam, Levi and Esther Johnson; six sisters and brothers, Doug Nelson, Jacki Nelson, Alvin Nelson, Peggy Hampton, Eric Nelson and Virginia Hampton. Teena was preceded in death by her parents. A funeral will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, in Eastern Gate Missionary Baptist Church, Ava. Burial will follow in Harvill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
