Carolyn Sue Henry, age 76, of Nixa passed away Thursday, November 11, 2016. She was born October 12, 1940 in Hunter, KS to William and Elinor (Tague) Tuttle. She was raised in Forsyth after graduating from Forsyth High School; she worked in doctors' offices. Sue obtained her CNA in 1975 and started her career at St. John's Hospital, now Mercy. She retired from Mercy Hospital in 2001, after 26 years care giving. Sue loved people. She was very caring and generous person. Sue was very outspoken and outgoing. You never had to guess what she was thinking. Sue was an avid baseball fan. She loved her Cardinals and Cubs. She had an interest in football as well. Sue was well liked by all who knew her. She dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sue loved the Lord and was very active in her church, Victory Baptist Church, Nixa Sue is survived by her two children Rick Henry, his wife Tonna of Nixa, and Kellie Townsend, her husband Bob of Nixa; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; and a brother William Edgar Tuttle, his wife Inge of Ozark. Sue is preceded in death by her parents. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, November 15, 2016 at Maple Park Cemetery, Springfield, with Pastor Ray Brinson officiating.
