Steven Allen Messersmith

Steven Allen Messersmith, age 52, of Nixa, passed away Monday, February 23, 2015. He was born March 29, 1962 in San Diego, California, the son of Gordon Dean and Judy Rae (Estes) Messersmith. Steve held several occupations, most often in construction work. He enjoyed camping with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Glenda. Survivors include: His son, Tyler Messersmith and wife Lorisa of Springfield; three grandchildren, Lincoln, Jaxon and Mason Messersmith; a sister Penny Dudley and Dale Cantrell of Ozark; two brothers, Wade Messersmith and Laura of Republic, and Doug Messersmith and Sherrie Pickering of Rogersville; nieces and nephews; and the mother of his son, Freila. A graveside will be 2:00 PM Thursday, February 26, at Hopedale Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
