Steven Douglas McCauley, age 69 of Ozark, died February 14, 2023. He was born February 18, 1953 in Springfield, the son of Okla Don and Phyllis Jeanette Whittington McCauley.
Steven grew up attending Cassidy United Methodist Church. Steven worked for Springfield Livestock Auction. He was a K.C. Chiefs and St. Louis Cardinals fan. Steven enjoyed riding his Harley and watching Westerns. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his kids and their families.
Surivors include: his daughters, Sara McCauley of Ozark and Jodie Burns and husband David of Clever; and Tommy Schafer and wife Sarah of Clever and Kris Schafer and wife Shay of Salem; his girlfriend, Susan Schafer; grandchildren, Mackenzie and husband Tyler, Olivia, Michael, Izabella, Tripp, Brynley and Ryder; great grandchildren, Talon, Kynzlee, Ryen and Blake; his sister, Jennifer Falk; nieces, Julie Smith and Lori Jo Smith; great nieces, Hailey, Kasey and Nicole; great nephew, Logan; and dog, Maggie.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents; wife Olivia McCauley, grandson, Travis Smith and cousin and best friend, Bruce Adams.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Frank Burns and Phil Gilpin officiating. Burial will follow at McCauley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
