Steven Byron Lucy, age 70, of Ozark, died April 11, 2015 in his home. He was born November 14, 1944 at Fort Dix, New Jersey, the son of Clarence Edward and Mary Magdalene Lucy.
On September 6, 2008 he and Vickie Francene Green were united in marriage Steve was a member of Ponce Pentecostal Church, was an Army Veteran, and retired as a high rise construction supervisor from Dallas, Texas.
Steve loved the Lord, his family, his pets, hot rods, and road trips with friends Bill and June Bilyeu.
Survivors include his wife, Vickie; two sons Steve and Sam; his father Ed; his sister, Barbara Stallings and her husband Kit; his uncle Bob Lucy; a special cousin, Ray Bridges and his wife Peggy; his extended family, a daughter Daressa Finch and Jimmy McDonald; a granddaughter, Dannielle Nielsen and her husband Korie and their children, Kyleigh, Austin, and Keegan; his pets, Gracie, who was always by his side, LC and Diablo; along with many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary, and his step-mother, Jean.
Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday, April 14, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 15, in Adams Funeral Home, with Pastor Gayle Cobb officiating. Burial will follow in Jones-Chastain Cemetery, south of Nixa.
