Sophia Claire Tahiri

Sophia Claire Tahiri, age 1 month and 14 days, of Nixa passed away after a valiant fight for her life. This small little girl had the fight of a warrior. She overcame many life threatening conditions. Sophia had perseverance, was long suffering and beamed of love. She taught her mother and father more about love than they thought was possible. In Sophia's short little life she made a lasting impression on her family and caretakers. Sophia is survived by her parents Hakim and Jennifer Tahiri of Nixa; a sister Abby Lay of Nixa; her paternal grandparents Nessredine Tahiri of Oujda, Morocco, and Yamina Khir of Queens, New York; her maternal grandparents William and Kathleen Lay of Nixa; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, at 1:00 PM November 13, 2018 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Burial will follow at McConnell-Bledsoe Cemetery, Nixa.
