Shirley Mae Townsend

Shirley Mae Townsend, age 80, of Nixa, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015. She was born May 20, 1934 in Parks, Louisiana, the daughter of Savie and Eve (Lassiegne) Solari. She was united in marriage to Ralph Townsend. Shirley was employed as a bookkeeper during her working career. Survivors include: A sister, Cartherine Rabalais and husband Ray of Lafayette, LA; three brothers, Roger J. Solari of Coteau Homes, LA, Jimmy J. Solari and wife Aline of Parks, LA, and Darrel Solari and wife Marleia, of Tampa, FL; nieces and nephews, and many friends. Her husband preceded her in death in 1991, as well as a sister, Genevieve Castille, and her parents. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, March 28, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will be in Glenn Cemetery, south of Nixa. Visitation will be from noon until 8:00 PM Friday in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
