Shirley McGownd

Delores Shirley McGownd, age 73, passed away at Ozark Riverview Manor, in Ozark, on November 5, 2012. She was born to Sam and Nell (Rice) Greer in Alton, MO, September 8, 1939. She was united in marriage to Lenord McGownd on May 30, 1961, in Miami, OK. Shirley worked for many years as a photo processor in a photography lab. Shirley is survived by her husband Lenord, her son Lenord McGownd Jr., Doris Fletcher and her husband Joe, of Springfield, Shawna Burgess and husband Kenneth, of Republic, Donnie Greer and wife Vera, of Willow Springs, and a grandchild Connor McGownd. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Winston Greer, and Wayden Greer. No services are scheduled. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
