Shirley Lee Brannan

Shirl', Shirley Lee Brannan, died late on Tuesday, April 19, 2011, in her home. Her husband of 61 years, Curt Brannan, was holding her hand and by her side, along with her oldest daughter. She died after a 3 years illness, which she face with dignity, humor and love each day till the end. Born November 25, 1931 in Kansas City, Missouri, Shirl' was active in Christian woman's ministries, both in the churches were she served as pastor's wife, and as an integral part of the Christian Women's Connection. She will be greatly missed by her husband, three children, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, as well by the many lives she touched over the years of ministry to others. Her life was living testimony to her commitment to love God first and others as herself, which Jesus confirms to be the heart of life that pleases God. Services will be held at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, Mo, on Friday with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. and the service to follow at 3:00 p.m.
