Shiela Ann Recla

Shiela Ann Recla, age 49, of Highlandville, passed away Thursday, May1, 2014. She was born March 5, 1965 in Springfield, to Shirley Massengale and Benton Stephens. Shiela graduated from Nixa High school in 1983, and attended Missouri College of Cosmetology. She worked as a hair stylist most of her life. Shiela loved the outdoors. Shiela and her significant other, Rickie Curbow went on many camping and float trips. She enjoyed fishing as well. She loved animals and had many around the house. Shiela was a dreamer and had a vivid imagination. She enjoyed fairies, fantasies and the spiritual. Shiela loved her kids and her family. She was taken too soon and will be greatly missed. Shiela Is survived by her mother Shirley Massengale and her father Benton Stephens; Shiela's significant other Rickie Curbow; a daughter Sarah Randall, and her significant other Ty Collins, of West Plains; a son Nickalaus Recla, of Nixa; Siblings B. J. McConnell, and husband Chad, of Nixa, Jason Massengale, and wife Liz, of Nixa; and a grandchild Easton Collins, of West Plains. Shiela is preceded in death by her grandparents, Jesse and Lola Graham. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, May 5, 2014, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Roger Southerland officiating. A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday, May 4, 2014, in the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral in McConnell-Bledsoe Cemetery, Nixa.
