Sherry Oberbeck

Sherry Lea Oberbeck, 76, of Springfield, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 9, 2025. She was born on March 17, 1949, to Owen and Lodema Oberbeck. 

Sherry was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, and friend. Known for her generous spirit and compassionate heart, she was always the first to lend a hand to those in need. Her humor made her the life of the party. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather Bill Clark, and her beloved sisters Donna, Doris, Linda, and Connie. 

Sherry leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her sisters Lois Renfro, JoAnn Mann, Janet Oberbeck, Dorrie Mizell, and Billie Tannehill; her children Pete Martin, Melinda Walden, and Robert Martin; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and countless dear friends. 

Sherry’s legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering support will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Community Southern Baptist Church on Friday April 18, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Community Southern Baptist Church- 4686 State Hwy CC, Fair Grove MO 65648.

Cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory and arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
