Shayne Allen Maples

Shayne Allen Maples was born in Columbia, MO on December 19, 1994 by his loving mother Racheal Smith, and father Paul Maples. Shayne married ShayLynn Cartwright in November of 2014. They had a beautiful son in July, 2014. Shayne was an amazing father, and devoted all of his love to his wife and son, Clyde Lane Maples. Shayne was an outstanding poet and avid hunter. He enjoyed anything outdoors and remodeling his home. Shayne had the kindest heart, and the warmest smile anyone on this earth could have. On Thursday, July 23, 2015 Shayne passed away so suddenly and in such a tragic way. Just moments before his passing, he was doing the thing he loved the most-floating with his friends and family, smiling, and radiating with joy. God needed an angel to stand by his side, and though we are all lost, we can have peace in our hearts knowing he is found. Shayne's survivors are his mother Racheal Smith, his father Paul Maples, father figures Steven Larsen, Anthony Elwood, and Kenneth Eskew, his brothers Damon Elwood, and Jayson Eskew, his sisters, Brooklynn Elwood, Hannah Maples, Gracie Maples, Emily Maples, and Jasmin Ward, his son Clyde Maples, his wife ShayLynn Maples, his grandfather Paul Raymond Maples and his grandmother Janice Goble, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Shayne was loved by many and will be missed terribly. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Evelyn Johnson, and his grandfather Billy Smith. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2015 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. immediately before the service.
