Sharon Elaine Ashworth, 73, passed away on January 13, 2022 at her home in Nixa, Missouri, of presumed natural causes.
Sharon was born on February 8, 1948 in Orange, TX to John and Velda Mims.
After graduating from Chula Vista High School, Class of 1966, Sharon went on to marry Roy A. Marshall Jr.. With Roy being in the Navy, Sharon was able to travel the country and experience life outside her hometown of Chula Vista, CA. After returning, they went on to start their family and had two daughters. Years later, Sharon went back to school and earned her real estate license and began her successful career. After falling in love with the Midwest, Sharon and her second husband, Rodger F. Ashworth, decided to move their lives and business to Springfield, MO in 1991.
If Sharon wasn’t bouncing from rental property to rental property, you could probably find her catching crappie at her boat dock on Table Rock Lake. Sharon has always been a social person and loved being around people. She loved to go spinning around on the dance floor and playing games with her many friends. Sharon was an active member of the Red Hat Society and very much enjoyed the special group of ladies she spent time with. With all of Sharon’s busy life and accomplishments, her biggest joy was spending time with her Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
Sharon is survived by one daughter, Christine E. Marshall; Granddaughter, Ashley E. Krempasky and husband Jon; Grandson, Tanner P. Youngblood and partner Sarah Doty; Granddaughter, Maya A. Altamar; Great-Granddaughter, Natalie R. Krempasky; Great-Grandson, Alexander P. Youngblood; expecting Great Grandson, Ryan A. Krempasky; Sister, Simone Meeker and husband Tobias; Sister, Denise Gregoire and husband Rick; Sister, Diane Magnan and husband Phil; Sister, Joanne Yates and husband Perry; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; great-great-niece; and her beloved 16 year old Chihuahua, Bella.
Sharon is preceded in death by her father, John Roger Mims; mother, Velda Jean Mims (Shields); sister, Cindi Jean Marroquin (Mims); and her daughter Jennifer Elizabeth Marshall.
Cremation Rites have been accorded by Adams Crematory and private services will be held at a later date. Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. is in charge of the arrangements.
