Sarahcita Hinze

Sarah Hinze passed away peacefully on April 12, 2024, at the age of 92 in Ozark, Missouri. She was born on June 28, 1932. In the Netherlands, Europe.

Sarah was a brave and adventurous woman who immigrated to New York from Europe and raised her daughter, Jana Maciejczak, as a single parent. She was quite feisty and opinionated at times but, had a heart of gold. She did have a sense of humor many times. She was deeply devoted to the Lord and considered it her life’s mission to help others come to know Him. Sarah’s greatest joy in life were her grandson, Christopher Maciejczak and Scott Maciejczak Jr.

In her leisure time, Sarah enjoyed reading, music, art, and had a deep love for all animals. Sarah is survived by her daughter, Jana Maciejczak, grandsons Christopher and Scott Maciejczak Jr., brother Christian Hinze, niece Anet Hinze, niece Camielle Hinze, and was preceded in death by her brother, Oscar Hinze.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Sarah’s life will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Adams Funeral Home in Ozark, Missouri. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery, Ozark.  Visitation will be from 1:30-2:00 p.m. immediately before the service. Sarah will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her Memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
