Sam Darrel Steinert

Sam Darrel Steinert, Sr, age 77, of Clever, passed away in Donna, TX, February 18, 2013. He was born to Paul and Ella Mae (Inman) Steinert, February 12, 1936, in Springfield. Sam worked many years for Coca Cola Foods Division and was a manager for C.V. Florsheim Food Brokerage Company. Sam loved outdoor hobbies, including his love for farming. He enjoyed various kinds of music and singing, as well as traveling in his motor home Sam is survived by the love of his life, Shirley Phaff, of Clever, a son Sam Steinert Jr, and Gale Pilant, of Springfield, daughter Susan Steinert Reed, and husband Leo, of Mansfield, two grandchildren, Alex and Dustin Reed. Sam is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Joe Steinert. A visitation will be Monday, February 25, 2013, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Funeral services will be Tuesday February 26, 2013, at 10:00 A.M, at the funeral home. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Patterson Cemetery, in care of Sandra Byrd, 4099 W.
