Saeko Oliver

"Sayonara Japanese Goodbye Whisper Sayonara but you mustn't cry." Saeko Oliver, age 84 of Ozark, died November 29, 2017. She was born October 1, 1933 in Kyoto, Japan, the daughter of Otojiro and Masuno (Hattori) Nakura. In 1952 while working at an Army Camp she met and fell in love with Robert Oliver. They were married January 10, 1955. Saeko was preceded in death by her parents; and her beloved sister in law Margie. She is survived by her husband and her beloved daughter, Emily; brother in law, Tommy and sisters in law, Mary and Donna. Since Saeko was an only child she always considered her husband's siblings as her own brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017 in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark with Kent Davis officiating. Burial will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield at a later date.
