Ruth Lucille Widhalm

Ruth Lucille Widhalm, age 82, of Ozark, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017. She was born January 22, 1935 in Platte Center, Nebraska, the daughter of Roy and Lucille (Langan) Kluever. On October 26, 1953 she and Dennis Elwin "Woody" Widhalm were united in marriage. Ruth enjoyed gardening, sewing and playing cards. She was a member of Hillbilly Garden Club in Springfield. She and Woody had been members of St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church for the past 18 years. Survivors include: Her husband of 63 years, Woody; three children, Todd Widhalm of Sioux City, Iowa, Debra Charondo of San Francisco, California, and Mark Widhalm of Sioux City; and a grandchild, Andre Charondo. A funeral mass will be 10:30 AM Monday, February 20, in St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Ozark, with Father Scott Sunnenberg officiating. Burial will be 1:00 PM Thursday, February 23, in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 6:30 PM Sunday in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
