Ruth Agnes Johnson

Ruth Agnes Johnson, age 85, of Waverly, Ohio, formerly of Highlandville, Missouri, passed away November 5, 2012. She was born February 13, 1927, in Edwardsville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Frank and Agnes (Kulpan) Karbon. In 1952 she and Robert Milton Johnson were united in marriage, while both were serving their country in the U.S. Air Force. Mrs. Johnson was a registered Nurse. Survivors include: Her two children, Nora Schaeffer and Jerry Beckerson, Chillicothe, Ohio, and David Johnson and Rebecca Sroge, Brooklyn, New York; two grandchildren, Raine and Stella; and a brother, Bill Karbon and wife Pat, New Jersey. A graveside funeral with military honors will be 1:00 PM Friday, November 16, in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield. Arrangements were under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
