Ruth Elnor Genteman

Ruth Elnor Genteman Ruth Elnor Genteman, age 91 of Ozark, passed away Monday, May 9, 2011. She was born September 26, 1919, the daughter of Tom and Maude (Brown) Wheeler. Ruth graduated from Chaffey Junior College in Rancho Cucamonga, California where she was a member of Beta Zeta Sorority. In March of 1952 she married Richard William Genteman. Ruth retired from General Electric in Springfield. She was a long time member of Selmore Christian Church and presently a member of Ozark Christian Church, and a member of C.W.F. Ruth was active in the General Federation of Women"�s Club, Literary Club of Ozark where she served as President for seven years. She loved working in her flower garden. Ruth"�s pies and special fruitcake will be missed by her friends and family. Survivors include: her son, Craig Genteman and wife Dianna; her son in law, David McCroskey; grandchildren, Mandy Faulkner and husband Larry, Travis McCroskey and wife Jackie, Luke and Shelby Genteman; and great grandchildren, Mason Faulkner and Kennedi McCroskey, all of Ozark. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Pam McCroskey; and her brothers, Milfred and Max Wheeler. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Enid Acosta and Missy Wiggins, HPC Hospice, and nieces, Lorna Barr and Malinda Todd. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in Selmore Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Selmore Christian Church or Ozark Christian Church.
