Russell Lee Cline

             Russell Lee Cline, age 91 of Nixa, passed away February 2, 2023.  He was born November 6, 1931 in Bacon Township, Vernon County, Missouri, the son of Fred Thomas and Gladys (Cox) Cline. He was lovingly raised by his grandparents Arthur and Pearl Cline. 

            Russell was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church.

            Russell served his country in the U.S. Marines for 20 years. After serving his country, Russell worked as a mechanic.

            Survivors include:  his wife Joyce of Nixa, MO; children, son David Massey and wife Aurora of Sparks, NV, son Gary Cline and wife Ruth of Savannah, GA, daughter Robin Clendenon of Bullhead City, AZ, son Michael Cline and wife Nikola of Valley Village, CA, daughter Debi Bennett and husband Mark of Spring Branch, TX, daughter Melissa Gilmore and husband Mark of Moreno Valley, CA; a sister, Norma Roy; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

            Russell was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brother Raymond and and a son, Michael Massey.

            A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor Derek Eckels officiating. A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
