Ruby was born on December 17, 1926 in Taney County, the daughter of Clarence and Lula (Clevenger) McGrath. She was united in marriage to Fred Davis on February 20, 1946. They enjoyed 65 years of marriage together before he preceded her in death in 2011.

She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Velma Range, Rosa Newberry, Betty Newberry, and Urmoleta Redfearn; and one brother, Jesse McGrath.
Ruby was a graduate of Spokane High School and attended college in California. She enjoyed a number of jobs in her lifetime, most of which were related to her deep Christian faith. Ruby held other jobs over time as well: licensed day-care owner, fashion show director for Sarah Coventry, Union Food Industry and Shipyard Clerk, Seamstress, and board member of a national non-profit. Out of all her numerous jobs over the years, two were most important to her: mother to Kenny and Dennis, and follower of Jesus Christ.

Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation with the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Dr. Wade Bridges will officiate.
