Ruby Jean Cornog

Ruby Jean Cornog Ruby Jean Cornog, age 60 of Sparta, passed away Monday, September 5, 2011. She was born June 25, 1951 in Branson, the daughter of Fred Alden and Freida (Lyons) Whitaker. On August 29, 1968 she was united marriage to Truman Ray Cornog. Survivors include: her children, David Cornog and wife Sandy, Texas, Julie Scott and husband Ralph, Rogersville, Sheryl Gentry and husband Levi, Sparta, and Sandra Simpson and husband Mike, Sparta; seven grandchildren, Dakota Hedgepath, William Scott, Hannah Scott, David Simpson, Brian Cornog, Travis Cornog and Jesse Gentry; and her great granddaughter, Tayah Scott. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings; and a granddaughter, Jewell Cromwell. A graveside service will be held at noon on Friday in Chadwick Cemetery. Cremation under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
