Rose A. Lopez

Rose Lopez, age 98, of Ozark, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012, in the home of her daughter. She was born July 30, 1913 in Lumberton, New Mexico, the daughter of Cleo and Virginia Archuleta. She was married to Martin Lopez, who preceded her in death in 1976. Mrs. Lopez loved her family and her church. She enjoyed arts and crafts, playing bingo and other games and books. She looked forward to "Wheel of Fortune"�. Survivors include: Two daughters, Genevieve Gaunt, Springfield, and Betty Wynn, Ozark; nine grandchildren, Terry Grimes, Vicki Johnston, Berry Wynn, Johnny Wynn, Chris Gaunt, Karin Lopez, Monica Crane, Michael Lopez; 20 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; a half sister, Lucy Vigil; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; four children, Virginia Ensign, Martin Lopez, Robert Lopez, and infant Martin; and a grandson, Mark Wynn. A funeral mass will be 11:00 AM Friday, March 30, in St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church, Ozark, with Father Saviour Nundwe officiating. Burial will follow in Weaver Cemetery, Ozark. Visitation will be from 10:00 "� 11:00 AM on Friday. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
