Ronald Loyd Stewart, age 70, of Ozark, Missouri died in his sleep early Saturday morning, November 1, 2014 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Ron or Ronnie, as he was known by all, was born on March 21, 1944, in Springfield, Missouri, the son of Audrey Jean (Clark) and Loyd M. Stewart.
Ron was an Ozark resident for 31 years. He worked for Monarch Mfg. for 29 years. Ron loved to play golf, fish, trap shoot and travel with his wife and dogs in their fifth wheel. He was a loving husband, devoted family man, who was selfless in all that he did. Words could never describe how special he was or how much he will be missed.
On August 19, 1981, in Springfield, Missouri he was united in marriage to Debbie (Petty). She survives of the home. Also surviving are two sons, Jeff Stewart and Tim Johnston; one daughter Jeannie Reeves and her husband Bryon Reeves; one sister Becky Flood and husband Jim; two brothers, Mark McCroskey and wife Arlene, and Dean McCroskey and wife Laurie; and four grandchildren: Matthew Stewart, Michael Reeves, Solomon Johnston and Joshua Reeves.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Leroy Stewart.
Ron requested to be cremated. A memorial service will be 7:00 PM Friday, November 7, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
