Ronald Gene Niehoff, born on August 23, 1946, in Lamar, Missouri, to Martin and Hilda Niehoff, Ron's life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and vibrant experiences.

Ron grew up on the family farm in Lockwood, where he cultivated a deep-rooted connection to nature and hard work. A standout athlete, he played football during his high school years, embodying the spirit of teamwork and determination that would carry through his entire life.

On December 16, 1967, Ron married the love of his life, Glennda Jean Studivan. Together, they embarked on a remarkable journey that spanned decades and continents. Their adventures took them around the world during Ron's honorable service in the U.S. Army, creating cherished memories that they would recount fondly for years to come.

After his military service, Ron dedicated nearly 40 years to a fulfilling career at NCR where he was lovingly referred to as “The Wizard”. His commitment and work ethic earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues, culminating in a well-deserved retirement.

Ron was a man of many passions. He cherished the tranquility and thrill of time spent on the lake, whether casting a line or skiing across the water's surface. A lifelong Kansas City Chiefs fan, he was known for his unwavering support and infectious enthusiasm, celebrating every victory and enduring each loss with steadfast loyalty. He and Glennda also enjoyed cruising the world with their life-long friends.

In addition to his recreational pursuits, Ron was deeply committed to his community. He volunteered at the Crosslines Food Bank and was a devoted member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Nixa, Missouri. His generosity and spirit of service touched many lives, leaving a lasting legacy of kindness and compassion.

Ron was also a founding member of the Ozark Mountain Barnstormers Flying Club, where he shared his love for aviation with fellow enthusiasts. His adventurous spirit and love for the skies were a testament to his zest for life.

Above all, Ron's greatest joy was his family. He adored his family and reveled in every moment spent with them, whether watching their sports games or simply being in their presence. His love for his family was unwavering, and nothing could keep him from them.

Ron faced his battle with lung cancer with incredible strength and courage, and he passed away cancer-free, a testament to his unconquerable spirit.

Ron is survived by his wife Glennda, son Craig Niehoff (Tonya) and daughter Farra Kleyh (Jason), his grandchildren Mallory, Kortney, Chelsie, Amber, and Peyton, his great-grandchildren Jordan, Harley, Delainey, Livvia, Kaeli, Lydia, Evelyn, and Lyra.
