Ronald Jensen

Ronald LeRoy Jensen, 80, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2018 with family by his side. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday April 14, 2018 at New Life Baptist Church in Willard, Missouri. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm and service will follow at 2:00 pm. Burial will take place at a later date at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer, Iowa. Ron was born in Linn Grove, Iowa on March 15, 1938 to Glenn and Kathleen Jensen. He graduated from High School in Ash Grove, Missouri in 1959. Ron went on to serve proudly in the Army National Guard. He was married to Nancy A. Howe on July 16, 1965. In 1967, they welcomed their son Robert K. Jensen. Ron worked in the sanitation business for many years in Iowa. He retired to Springfield, Missouri in 2002. He enjoyed fishing, watching westerns and spending time with his grandchildren. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Kathleen and his wife Nancy. Ron will be dearly missed by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Jami Jensen of Willard, Missouri; grandson, Adam Jensen and his wife Christina of Springfield, Missouri; grandson, Nathan Jensen and his wife Ashley of Wilmont, Minnesota; grandson, John Berka and his wife Alejandra of Twentynine Palms, California; grandson, Coleten Jensen of Willard, Missouri; great-granddaughter, Isabella Day Ceron; great-grandson, Thomas Berka Ceron, great-granddaughter Jensen due in July 2018; brother, Jackie and Karol Jensen of Ozark, Missouri; sister, Donna and Ron Johnson of Springfield, Missouri; brother, Keith and Georgia Jensen of Walnut Grove, Missouri along with many nieces and nephews. Cremation is under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
