Ronald P. Gideon

Ronald Preston Gideon, age 76 of Oldfield, passed away October 9, 2013 in Springfield. He was born January 16, 1937 in Reeds Spring, the son of Lester and Hila (Jackson) Gideon. Survivors include: two sons, Clarence and Kenneth Gideon of Colorado; one brother, Robert Gideon and wife Bessie, Oldfield; one sister, Kathleen Gilbert, Oldfield; three stepbrothers, Jimmy, Ray and Larry Gideon; two stepsisters, Margaret and Shirley; one sister in law, Mickey Gideon; and several nieces, nephews and friends. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Jerry, Eldon and Dean Gideon; and two sisters, Betty Payne and Mona Shipman. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 14, 2013 in Fairview Cemetery, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
