Ronald Ellingsworth

Ronald Lee Ellingsworth, age 69, of Highlandville, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018. He was born August 3, 1948, in Ozark, the son of Clifford "Shorty" Ellingsworth, and Imogene Stewart Ellingsworth. Ron was a 1966 graduated of Spokane High School. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. Following discharge he worked for Kraft. Later he became a truck driver, and retired as a mechanic for Peterbilt. Survivors include: His daughter, Niki Ellingsworth, of Highlandville; his son, Dan Ellingsworth of Spokane; grandchildren, Brianna Dawn Ellingsworth, and Jaden Marie Ellingsworth; a great-grandchild, Colton Riley Barsness; his mother Imogene Ellingsworth; a brother Monty Ellingsworth, of Spokane; and a sister, Rhonda Carr and husband Dexter of Galena. Ron was preceded in death by his father Clifford Ellingsworth, and infant son Ronald Lee Ellingsworth, Jr. A memorial service will be 9:30 AM Friday, March 30, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Burial will military honors will follow in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.
